ABOUT THE AWARDS

The RegTech Awards underpin The RegTech Association's mission to create a global centre of excellence and to accelerate RegTech adoption across regulated eco-systems. The Awards celebrate those who have achieved the greatest impact over the last year. 

We have four awards, for three regions: APAC, the UK and Europe, and North America. Our awards will coincide with our #ACCELERATE RegTech Global programs held in Sydney, London, and New York.

RegTech of the Year - APAC

Description

This award has been given annually since 2019. It rewards excellence in scale, growth, investment and contribution to the industry by a RegTech or SupTech solution provider.

RegTech Corporate Innovator of the Year - APAC

Description

This award is for a corporate entity that has either for itself or clients achieved excellence and impact in RegTech deployment/engagement. Examples include a financial services firm or a professional services firm that either buys RegTech or influences purchasing decisions. This is not an award for a RegTech company.

RegTech Social Impact of the Year - APAC

Description

This award will recognise any member organisation who can measurably demonstrate the social impact of their deployment of RegTech or SupTech in their organisation or for their clients.

RegTech Startup of the Year - APAC

Description

This award recognises the best RegTech startup in the APAC region. We are looking for an early-stage superstar! We will be looking for those who are solving a problem that meets a real, contemporary compliance and or regulatory need, the innovation of the solution and market appetite, the business model and scalability. This can be for a RegTech or SupTech solution.

  • If you answered yes to the previous question, please provide details.
  • Type of technology deployed.
  • Outline the problem you solve for, its size and impact.
  • Explain why your solution is unique or innovative, including any IP/patents.
  • Briefly explain your business model, scalability and the service addressable market.
  • Number and description of signed, fully deployed clients, customers and partners.
  • Who are your competitors and how do you differentiate?

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. A judging panel who have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements will assess applications and determine finalists and recipients. No correspondence will be entered into.

2. Your application must be received by 11:59 PM (AEDT) 28 February 2025.

3. Finalists will be announced around 19 March 2025.

4. Winners will be announced at the in-person Sydney #ACCELERATERegTechGlobal event. 

5. There may be media generated to announce finalists.

6. You must be logged in to complete the application via the prescribed online platform. This must be completed via the registration button by the prescribed deadline. We cannot accept any other forms of submission, including by email.

Entry criteria

  • Your organisation must be a member of The RegTech Association (RTA) to register your application (you must be financial at submission date and awards event).
  • Please see individual awards for additional award criteria.
